2일간 실시한 교육은 한국양성평등교육진흥원 폭력예방 통합교육 전문강사 한완수 강사의 진행으로 디지털 성폭력을 포함한 4대 폭력 ‘성희롱·성폭력·가정폭력·성매매’ 예방교육으로 진행됐다고 했다.

한완수 강사는 현재 동두천시 사회복지협의회장을 역임중이며, 2021년 동두천시 ‘양성평등 문화 확산 부문’ 양성평등상 수상자로, 2000년 동두천 지역에서 폭력예방과 여성인권 강화를 위한 ‘동두천성폭력 상담소’를 개소하여 여성·아동·청소년의 권익증진과 부부의 건강한 성 평등 문화 확산에 주력하고 있다고 전했다.

강사는 교육을 통해 지역에서 발생한 사례를 폭력 예방교육에 적용, 설명하면서 “공무원들이 사회적 성별의 차이를 인지하고 시정 업무에 잘 반영하여 시민이 만족하는 정책을 만들길 바란다”며 성인지 감수성을 강조했다.
