[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 29일 오전 11시, 농업기술센터 대강당에서 농업인 학습단체 회장단과 임원 등 30여명이 참석한 가운데 제27대 이동선 농업기술센터 소장 명예퇴임식이 진행됐다고 밝혔다. 

이날 퇴임식에 참석한 농업인단체 회장은 “다양한 농촌지도 행정 능력을 두루 갖추고, 농업에 대한 전문지식을 현장에 접목해 지역 농업인의 농가소득이 획기적으로 향상될 수 있도록 열정을 바쳐 업무에 임해주셨다.”라고 전했다. 

이동선 소장은 “농업 분야에 종사하면서 농업 관련 산업이 위축되는 시기도 겪었지만, 4차 산업혁명 시대로 들어서면서 이제는 농업이 중요한 기반 사업으로 부상하고 있다. 민선 7기 평화시대 남북경협 거점도시 포천에 발맞춰 포천시 농업의 미래가 한층 더 발전할 수 있도록 농업 외 종사자분들도 많은 관심과 지원을 부탁드린다.”라고 밝혔다.

한편, 이동선 농업기술센터 소장은 1994년부터 공직을 시작해 원예특작팀장 등 7개 팀장, 기술보급과장, 농업지원과장을 거쳐 농업기술센터 소장을 역임하면서 농업·농촌발전에 크게 기여했다고 전했다.
