동두천시는 폐수 무단 방류, 시설 비정상 가동 등 고의적인 위법행위가 적발되면, 즉시 사법 조치하는 등 강력히 대응한다는 방침이라고 했다.

시 관계자는 “우리시의 쾌적한 물환경 조성을 위해서는 무엇보다 업체의 자율점검과 지역주민의 투철한 신고정신과 참여가 필요하다”고 전했다.
