선정된 우수급식소는 주식회사 지에스포천그린에너지, ㈜엘에스씨푸드 이마트포천, 몽베르골프장, ㈜청우식품으로, 평가결과 모두 200점 이상을 얻어 우수업소로 선정됐으며, 이로써 관내 우수급식소는 총 6개소가 됐다고 했다.

우수급식소는 급식소의 자율적 위생관리 수준을 높이고 관내 자율관리등록제 지정 확산 분위기를 조성하고자 마련됐다. 선정된 우수급식소에게는 다양한 인센티브를 제공할 예정이라고 했다. 

포천시 관계자는 “단순 위생용품 지원이 아닌 영업주가 체감할 수 있는 다양한 지원방안을 모색해 나가겠다.”고 밝혔다.
