[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 10일 양주시 회천1동은 행정복지센터 민원창구에 비접촉 카드결제 단말기를 설치했다고 밝혔다.

회천1동은 이번 사업을 통해 위생과 방역에 대한 관심이 높아지고 코로나19 예방을 위해 사회적 거리두기가 강조되는 상황에서 비대면 스마트 방역으로 민원인과 담당공무원 모두에게 환영받을 것으로 기대하고 있다고 전했다.

이 날 행정복지센터를 방문한 민원인 A씨는 “편의점에서만 보던 비대면 결제 단말기를 동사무소에서 보게 되니 신기하면서도 이제 정말 언택트 시대가 온 것 같다”고 말했다. 

이주형 회천1동장은 “코로나 19 장기화에 따른 비대면 시대에 우리 지역 주민들이 안심하고 동사무소를 이용할 수 있도록 앞으로도 전염병 확산 예방과 방역을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
