[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 27일 포천시 여성들의 예술적 기량과 재능을 뽐내는 ‘제6회 포천시 여성 기예경진대회’가 신북면에 위치한 허브아일랜드에서 개최됐다고 밝혔다.

포천시여성단체협의회 주최로 진행된 이번 대회는 여성들의 지위 향상과 사회참여를 증대 등 건전한 사회분위기 확산을 위해 마련됐다고 했다.

운문, 산문, 회화, 꽃꽂이 등 4개 부문 기예보유자 60여 명이 참여해 그간 쌓아온 예술적인 기량과 재능을 발휘한 작품을 선 보였다고 전했다.

부문별 수상자로는 운문 부문에 신광옥(소흘읍), 산문 부문에 최창일(군내면), 회화 부문에 안선희(소흘읍), 꽃꽂이 부문에 이혜선(창수면)씨가 각각 최우수상을 수상하는 등 총 12명이 수상의 영예를 안았다고 했다. 

박윤국 포천시장은 “정치, 경제, 사회, 문화 등 각 분야에서 여성의 역할이 증대되고 있다. 이번 대회를 통해 포천시 여성들이 가지고 있는 숨은 잠재력을 발견하고, 여성들의 자아실현과 자긍심 함양 등 여성들의 밝은 미래를 준비하는 촉매제가 되길 바란다.” 말했다.
