[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 18일부터 양주시는 독서 동아리 활성화를 위해 온라인 ‘독서모임의 모든 것’에 참여할 수강생을 모집한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 강좌는 ‘재미있는 책 모임을 꿈꾸시는 분’, ‘같이 읽는 책 읽기가 궁금하신 분’, ‘그저 책이 좋은 모든 분’들을 대상으로 독서모임의 색다른 매력을 공유하며 다양한 방식의 읽기경험과 소통기회를 제공하기 위해 기획됐다고 했다. 

독서모임의 모든 것은 ‘독서모임 꾸리는 법’ 저자 원하나와 ‘모두의 독서 모임’ 공동저자 유재은을 초빙해 이론수업과 체험수업을 병행하며, ‘독서모임 꾸리는 법’은 오는 6월 4일부터 6월 25일까지 독서모임에 대한 정보를 제공하고 운영에 관한 노하우를 제공한다고 했다. 

‘모두의 독서 모임’은 오는 7월 9일부터 7월 30일까지 도서 ‘소설처럼’, ‘이방인’, ‘사피엔스’ 등을 읽고 온라인 독서 모임을 운영한다고 했다. 

시 관계자는 “온라인 독서 모임은 코로나19로 오랫동안 단절된 이웃 간 관계를 회복할 수 있는 소통창구가 될 것”이라며 “시민들의 많은 관심과 참여 부탁한다”고 말했다.
