[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 4월 29일부터 5월 7일까지 동두천시는 5회에 걸쳐 시군종합평가 대응 전략회의를 진행했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 전략회의는 전진석 부시장 주재로, 84명의 지표담당자가 직접 참석해, 전체 98개 지표 중 중점관리대상 62개 지표의 추진상황을 분석하고, 이에 따른 대응 전략을 집중 논의했으며, 향후 추진계획을 공유하는 등 실적 향상방안을 모색하기 위해 마련됐다고 했다. 

동두천시는 2021년 시군종합평가의 상위권 진입을 목표로, 우수한 성과 달성을 위해 연초 자체계획을 수립하고, 지표별 컨설팅을 실시했으며, 확정된 98개의 지표에 대한 대응보고회 및 간담회를 개최하는 등 지표 관리에 총력을 다하고 있다고 전했다. 

동두천시는 향후 부서 간 소통 및 협력 체계를 강화하고, 단계별 전략적 대응체계를 운영하는 등 목표 달성을 위해 최선을 다할 계획이라고 전했다. 

전진석 부시장은 “국가 및 도 위임사무와 주요시책 등의 핵심지표로 구성된 시군종합평가를 잘 준비하는 과정은 시민에 대한 행정서비스의 질을 더욱 높일 수 있는 기회이므로, 발 빠른 대응과 부서 간 협업을 통해 우수한 성적을 거둘 수 있도록, 전 부서에서 최선을 다해 줄 것”을 당부했다.
