모집은 오는 5월 3일부터 5월 14일까지 2주간이며 참여를 희망하는 시민은 양주시청 홈페이지에서 신청서 등을 내려받아 주소지 소재 읍면동 행정복지센터를 방문해 신청하면 된다고 했다. 

양주시 관계자는 “2020년도부터 연이은 코로나19 장기화에 따라 일자리를 잃고 생계가 어려워진 시민들에게 공공일자리가 악화된 고용상황에 희망이 되기를 바란다”며 “조속한 회복을 도모할 수 있도록 일자리사업 추진에 만전을 기하겠다”고 말했다.
