경규환 위원장은 “코로나19로 인해 모두가 경제적으로 어렵지만, 이웃을 위해 마음과 정성을 모아 주셔서 감사드린다. 기금은 중앙동 복지사각지대 발굴과 지원을 위해 소중히 사용하겠다”고 밝혔다. 
 

이춘우 동장은 “중앙동 주민들의 따뜻한 마음이 한 데 모여 큰 후원금으로 모아졌다. 한 푼, 두 푼 모인 모든 주민들의 결실이 지역 주민을 위해 사용될 것이며, 앞으로도 많은 관심을 부탁드린다”고 전했다.
