[김준호 기자=삼척시] 삼척시는 열악한 채탄 환경에서 진폐증을 얻어 어렵게 생활하고 있는 진폐의증환자의 복지수준을 향상시키기 위해  1억5천8백여만 원을 투입해 문화생활비 지원사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

지원대상은 관내에 주민등록 및 사실상 거주가 확인되고, 진폐의증환자로 등록된 자로 산업재해보상법 의한 진폐보상연금 수급자 및 진폐요양환자는 제외된다. 단, 진폐의증환자로서 합병증으로 요양환자 진단을 받은 경우는 지급 가능하다.

기존 지원대상자는 별도 신청을 하지 않아도 되며, 신규신청자만 오는 1월 9일~1월 31일까지 신청서, 주민등록초본, 진폐요양신청에 대한 결정통지서, 통장사본 등을 지참하고 읍‧면‧동 행정복지센터를 방문하여 신청하면 된다.

문화생활비 신청은 본인이 직접 하는 것이 원칙이나, 부득이한 경우 배우자, 부양 의무자 등이 대리 신청할 수 있다.지원대상자로 결정되면 1인당 월 12만 원의 문화생활비를 분기별로 지급받게 된다.
