[김택곤 기자=정선군] 정선군을 대표하는 4대 전통시장 중 한 곳인 사북시장의 별愛별 청년몰에 24시간 무인점포 '별별상점'이 개장했다.

별별상점은 무인점포로 인건비 부담을 줄인 미래형 상점이다. 고객은 신용카드를 입구의 센서에 인식해 본인확인 후 출입이 가능하며, 상점 내부에 셀프계산대에서 직접 계산을 하면 된다. 

현재는 카드결제만 가능하지만, 사북청년협동조합에서는 앞으로 온누리상품권과 정선아리랑상품권의 바코드 결제도 가능하게 하기 위해 노력하고 있다.

중소벤처기업부 공모사업 ‘청년몰 활성화사업’의 일환으로 추진한 무인점포는 사북시장의 명물인 별愛별 청년몰의 청년상인들이 의기투합해 사북청년협동조합(이사장 장인영)을 조직하고 올해 1년을 꼬박 준비한 결과물이다.

청년상인들은 각각의 특색을 담은 패키지 상품을 개발하는 한편 이를 무인점포에서 공동 판매함으로써 공동의 수익을 창출하고자 하였으며, 취급하는 상품은 간편 밀키트, 악세사리, 가공식품, 지역 농산품, 텀블러, 별자리 엽서와 책갈피 등이다.

별별상점은 정선군을 담고 품는다는 콘셉트에 따라 별愛별 청년몰에 입점한 청년상인 외에도 지역 내 타 업체의 우수한 제품을 선별해 함께 전시·판매할 예정이다.
