[김준호 기자=삼척시] 우산국을 정벌한 이사부 장군의 개척정신을 기리고 동해바다를 수호하고자 하는 마음에서 지난 2008년부터 시작된  삼척동해왕이사부축제가 오는 9일부터 11일까지 3일간 이사부광장 일원에서 개최된다. 

“이사부 다시 출정”이라는 주제로 열리는 이번 축제는 코로나19 이후 열리는 대면 행사로 개막식 축하공연, 다양한 전시 및 체험행사를 비롯해 각종 대회 및 공개방송, 지역단체 공연, 이사부 가요제 등 다채로운 행사가 펼쳐져 시민 화합과 소통의 한마당 축제로 진행될 예정이다.
