[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평군은 청평 자연재해위험개선지구 정비사업이 확정되어 총사업비 310억원(국비 155억원)을 확보했다고 밝혔다.

청평지구는 2020년 8월 집중호우로 건물 19동, 시가지 및 농경지 25.4㏊가 침수되는 큰 피해를 입었던 지역으로 2023년부터 2026년까지 총사업비 310억원을 투입해 청평배수펌프장 개선, 배수펌프장 및 유수지 신설, 관거정비, 조종천 제방보축 등 자연재해 저감을 위한 사업을 추진할 계획이다.

남경호 안전재난과장은 “집중호우로 침수피해를 입었던 청평지구를 집중정비, 개선하여 주민들이 재해로부터 안전한 생활을 할 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
