[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)는 2022년 최우수 시책으로‘별빛 캠핑장 조성 사업’이 최종 선정됐다고 밝혔다. 지난 5월부터 전 직원을 대상으로 시책발굴팀을 구성하고 공모를 진행한 결과 총 9개의 시책이 접수됐으며, 1·2차 평가와 최종 발표심사를 거쳐 적합성, 창의성, 실효성, 공감도가 높은 4개 시책을 최종 선정했다.

이번에 최우수 시책으로 선정된 평생건강팀(팀장 김미경)의 ‘별빛 캠핑장 조성 사업’은 무릉별유천지 금곡호 정상 일원에서 이용객들이 체험과 힐링, 캠핑(글램핑) 등 편안하게 여가를 즐길 수 있도록 캠핑 공간을 조성하는 사업이다.

천혜의 자연환경을 자랑하는 무릉별유천지의 광활한 부지를 효과적으로 활용하기 위한 캠핑장 조성을 통해 장기적으로는 삼화권역의 산악관광에도 부합하고 인근 관광지와의 연계성과 실현 가능성 측면 에서 긍정적인 평가를 받았다.

이와 함께 우수시책은 주차마법사팀(팀장 김의환) 통합주차정보서비스로 주차전쟁 끝, 장려시책은 지방행정연구회팀(팀장 노승균)의 ‘공공시설물 관리프로그램 개발’과 스마트한 도시재생팀(팀장김태남)의 ‘스마트팜, 에어돔으로 스마트한 관광농원’이 선정되었다.

신영선 기획예산과장은 “앞으로도 더 새롭고 시민이 공감할 수 있는 다양한 시책을 발굴하여 주민 편의개선 및 시정 접목 가능여부 등을  종합적으로 고려할 계획”이라며, “대규모사업의 경우, 국비 확보를 위한 국가 공모사업과도 연계방안을 검토하여 시민의 행복지수를 높일 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
