[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] K-water 동두천수도지사는 경쟁입찰을 통해 동두천시 SWM사업 시설공사 계약자로 선정된 주식회사 가람엘엔씨와 상생의 안전 서약을 체결하였다고 밝혔다.

K-water 동두천수도지사는 무결점 책임 시공과 청렴 및 안전문화 정착을 위하여 K-water와 계약업체간 상생의 안전 서약을 지속적으로 추진할 계획이고, 서약대상은 공사기간 및 규모가 비교적 크고 경쟁입찰로 발주하는 계약이며, 계약 이행시 안전 법규, 계약내용을 준수하고 안전한 작업환경을 유지하는 한편, 일체의 반청렴 행위와 계약내용에 반하는 부당한 요구나 지시 금지 등이 서약내용으로 명시된다고 했다. 

동두천수도지사는 그간 안전한 작업 환경을 구축하고 안전사고 예방 활동을 적극 실시하는 등 안전 사업장 구현을 위해 지속적으로 노력해왔다고 했다. 

신창식 K-water 동두천수도지사장은 “청렴과 안전은 발주처와 계약업체 상호간 약속하고 지켜나가야 할 중요한 원칙이자 가치”라며, “K-water 동두천수도지사는 앞으로도 청렴하고 안전한 시공문화 정착을 통해 공기업으로서 사회적 책임을 적극적으로 이행하겠다” 고 밝혔다.
