[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 12월 1일부터 15일까지 동두천꿈나무정보도서관에서는 지난 10월 13일부터 11월 17일까지 6주 간 비대면으로 진행한 ‘나도 그림책 작가’ 수업 작품을 2층 꿈나무자료실에서 전시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 전시는 꿈나무정보도서관과 동두천양주교육지원청 협력 프로그램으로, 초등 5~중등 1학년, 중등 2~고등 1학년 2개 반을 편성해 ‘나도 그림책 작가’ 수업을 진행하며 백지그림책을 활용해 6회 동안 수강생들이 직접 만든 창작 그림책 12점을 전시할 예정이라고 했다.

수업에 참여한 한 학생은 “책에 대한 정보를 수집하고 이야기를 만드는 동안 내가 성장하는 기분이었다. 힘들었지만 재미있는 시간이었다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

도서관 관계자는 “시험 및 학교 수업으로 바쁜 일상에도 수강생 80% 이상이 한 번도 빠지지 않고 높은 출석율을 보였다”며 “소재도 다양하고 각자의 개성을 지닌 작품들이 흥미로웠다. 이번 전시를 접하고 많은 어린이, 청소년들이 자신만의 이야기를 만들어 보는 경험을 해보길 바란다”고 밝혔다.
