[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 7월 30일 포천시와 (재)경기대진테크노파크는 가구시공아카데미 교육장에서 ‘홈 인테리어 일자리 창출사업’ 제1기 교육생 15명을 배출했다고 밝혔다.

이번 제1기 교육 수료생 15명은 국내 가구 기업 시공협력사로 바로 취업이 연계되어 전원 취업에 성공했다고 전했다.

홈 인테리어 일자리 창출사업은 경기도, 포천시, 대진대학교, (재)경기대진테크노파크가 함께하는 사업으로, 사회적 문제가 되고 있는 청·장년 일자리 해소를 위한 현장 맞춤형 시공설치 인테리어 전문가 양성사업이며, 부품형태로 출고되는 주방제품을 공간 특성을 맞게 조립하여 완성하는 전문 가구엔지니어 과정으로 총 4주간의 프로그램으로 구성되었다고 했다.

한편, ‘홈 인테리어 일자리 창출사업’의 제2기 교육생은 오는 8월 중 모집할 계획이며, 자세한 사항은 포천시청 홈페이지 고시공고란 또는 (재)경기대진테크노파크 홈페이지를 참고하면 된다고 전했다.

포천시 관계자는 “최근 코로나19로 집에서 생활하는 시간이 늘어남에 따라 리모델링 인테리어 수요가 증가하는 추세다.”라며 “교육을 통해 전문인력 양성과 일자리 창출에 기여할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
