[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 3일 동두천시 상패동 주민자치위원회는 주민자치위원 및 상패동 직원 등 10여명이 참석한 가운데 휴경지에 심었던 감자를 수확했다고 밝혔다.  

휴일에도 불구하고 이른 새벽부터 나와 구슬땀을 흘린 이날 행사에서는 감자1kg, 42박스를 수확했으며, 판매 수익금은 관내의 어려운 이웃을 위해 사용할 예정이라고 말했다.

이춘재 상패동 주민자치위원장은 “상패동 주민자치위원 모두가 힘을 모아 재배한 농산물로 어려운 이웃과 나누게 되어 더욱 기쁘며, 앞으로도 지역의 화합과 발전을 위해 다양한 사업을 추진하겠다”고 전했다.

이날 감자 수확에 함께한 한영수 상패동장 역시 “이른 새벽임에도 불구하고 즐거운 마음으로 감자수확에 동참해 주셔서 감사드린다”며 “앞으로도 주민자치위원회의 다양한 기부사업이 기대된다”고 밝혔다.
