[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 지난달 30일 동두천시와 동두천시청소년유해환경 감시단 총 12명이 합동으로 개학기 중 청소년유해환경 감시활동을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 활동은 등교수업에 진행에 따라 개학기 중 청소년을 유해업소에 대한 접촉으로부터 보호하고, 일탈행위를 방지하기 위하여 신시가지 및 구시가지 일대의 청소년유해업소를 대상으로 실시됐다고 했다.

이번 감시활동에서는 청소년 보호를 위한 캠페인 및 계도활동, 유해약물에 대한 모니터링, 청소년 출입·고용금지 위반행위 집중 단속, 청소년출입금지표시 미부착, 청소년대상 유해약물 술·담배 등판매금지표시 미부착 등에 대해 단속 및 점검했다고 말했다. 

동두천시와 동두천시청소년유해환경감시단은 청소년들의 탈선행위를 예방하기 위해 수시활동을 통하여, 청소년 보호를 꾸준히 진행해나갈 방침이라고 전했다.
