[김택곤 기자=영월군] 2023년 계묘년 새해를 맞아 한국농촌지도자 영월군연합회는 작년에 이어 올해 제2회 영월군 풍년기원제를 올린다.

이번 풍년기원제는 2월 20일(음력 2월 1일) 10시 30분에 농업기술센터에서 개최될 예정이며, 영월군 부군수를 비롯한 영월군의원, 농업인단체장 등 유관기관 관계자와 농촌지도자 회원 등 50여 명이 참여할 예정이다.

영월군 풍년기원제는 농촌지도자영월군연합회가 영월군 농업인을 대표하여 주관하는 행사로, 그간 높은 인건비와 천재지변 등으로 어려움이 많았던 영월군 농업인의 간절함 마음을 담아 올 한해 영월군 농업의 풍년과 안녕을 기원하는 의미로 마련한 행사이다.

엄주익 회장은 “영월군 농업인 모두 올 한해 농사가 풍년이길 바라며 무탈한 한 해가 될 수 있도록 영월군민의 평안과 안녕을 기원하는 뜻깊은 자리가 되길 바란다.”라고 밝혔다.
