[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군 전문농업인 육성을 위한 클린농업대학이 오는 3월 29일 입학식을 갖고 11월말까지 본격 운영한다고 7일 밝혔다.

가평클린농업대학은 녹색농업․가평농업을 이끌어 갈 농업경영전문가를 양성하고자 지난 2007년 4월 첫 문을 열고 지역주민의 수요를 반영한 다양한 교육 프로그램 및 컨설팅 등을 제공해왔다. 

군은 지난해까지 1천810명의 졸업생을 배출한 가운데, 올해에도 제17회 클린농업대학 신입생 90명을 모집해 ‘힐링과 행복’농업을 이끌어 갈 전문농업인을 육성한다는 계획이다.

올해 운영할 클린농업대학은 친환경귀농귀촌과, 농촌관광과, 농식품학과 등 3개 과별에 각 30명씩 참여하게 된다.

친환경귀농귀촌과는 귀농귀촌교육 이론 및 실습, 귀농귀촌 정착 설계의 이론, 농업경영, 채소 및 과수 재배일반 등 농업기초에 대한 전반적인 부분을 다루게 된다.

또 농촌관광과는 농촌관광의 이해, 마케팅 전략, 농촌교육농장, 농산업트렌드까지 체계적인 과정으로 이루어진다.

마지막으로 농식품학과는 농식품 이론 및 실습, 농산물 가공, 경영 및 마케팅, 브랜드 개발, 향토음식, 농식품트렌드 등 농식품 기초부터 개발까지 전략적으로 운영된다.

클린농업대학 참여대상은 관내에 주민등록이 되어 있는 주민으로 제한되지만, 친환경귀농귀촌과는 귀농귀촌을 희망하는 외지인들에게도 기회를 주기 위해 관외 거주자도 지원이 가능하다.

대상자는 다음달 3일까지 군 농업기술센터 및 읍면 농업인상담소로 방문 또는 우편으로 신청해야 하며, 합격자는 3월 10일 농기센터 홈페이지 및 SMS를 통해 통지할 예정이다.

가평군 관계자는 “본 대학은 지역 농업인들과 귀농귀촌한 도시민들이 서로 소통할 수 있는 가교역할을 하며 서로 상생하는 기회의 장이 되고 있다”며 “군민들의 적극적인 참여를 바란다”고 말했다.

Participation in the Clean Agricultural College is limited to residents who are registered as residents in the jurisdiction, but the Eco-Friendly Return-to-Rural Department also offers support to residents outside the jurisdiction to give opportunities to outsiders who wish to return to farming.

Applicants must apply by visiting or mailing to the County Agricultural Technology Center and Eup/Myeon Farmers' Consultation Center by the 3rd of the following month, and the successful applicants will be notified via the Agricultural Technology Center website and SMS on March 10th.
