[김택곤 기자=영월군] 영월군은 코로나19 등 으로 인해 그동안 위축되었던 지역경기 활성화와 지역주민 일자리 창출을 위해 생활과 직결된 SOC사업을 조기 발주 하기로 했다. 

분야별 주요 사업으로는 ▶도로 확포장 및 유지보수 등 208억원 ▶하천재해예방사업 등 79억원 ▶소하천 정비 및 유지보수사업 등 161억원 ▶풍수해 생활권 종합정비사업 등 18억원 ▶재해위험 개선지구 및 급경사지정비 등 105억원 ▶농업기반정비 등 74억원 ▶공공청사 이전부지 조성 및 도시계획 도로확장사업 등 228억원으로 건설분야 총 1,083억원 중 758억을 조기발주 목표액으로 정하고 본격적으로 사업을 추진한다.

이를 위해 군은 올해 추진사업에 대하여 작년부터 실시설계를 추진하여 올해 건설사업 중 80% 이상 상반기에 착수할 수 있도록 사전에 준비를 마쳤으며, 원활한 사업추진을 위해 군청과 읍면 기술직 공무원의 상호 업무연찬을 통한 기술 능력 향상, 예산 절감을 위하여 합동 측량·설계팀을 운영하여 조기발주 및 재정 신속 집행에 총력을 다 할 계획이다.

최명서 영월군수는 군민들의 삶의 질을 높이고 지역의 희망찬 미래를 앞당길 다양한 사업을 구상하고 재원을 마련했으며, 부족한 예산은 중앙부처와 국회 등을 방문해 국비 확보에 총력을 다하겠다.라고 했다.
