[김현우 기자 = 양주] 양주시는 체납관리단 10명을 공개 모집한다고 4일 밝혔다.

이번 모집은 2023년 경기도 체납자 실태조사 사업 실시계획에 따라 진행되며, 모집하는 체납관리단은 전화상담원 6명, 실태조사원 4명으로 근무기간은 오는 3월 2일부터 9월 30일까지 1일 6시간 주5일간 근무한다.

신청대상은 공고일 기준(2023년 1월 5일) 현재 관내에 거주하는 만 18세 이상의 시민이면 신청할 수 있다.

선발된 체납관리단은 지방세와 세외수입 체납세 전반에 대한 교육수료 후 전화상담원은 체납상담, 체납자료 정비, 납부안내문 발송 등의 업무를 담당하며, 실태조사원은 체납자 방문상담을 통한 실태조사, 체납사실 안내, 납부 홍보, 애로사항 청취 등의 업무를 담당하게 된다.

신청을 희망하는 시민은 양주시청 홈페이지에서 신청서류를 내려받아 오는 16일과 17일까지 시청 1층 징수과 체납관리팀에 방문접수하면 된다.

양주시는 1차 서류심사와 2차 면접심사를 거쳐 2월 중 최종합격자를 선정할 예정이다.

양주시 관계자는 “체납관리단 운영으로 공공일자리 창출 및 공정한 조세정의 실현에 기여하고 시민의 건전한 납세의식 조성에도 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다”며 “복지사각지대에 놓여 있는 생계형 체납자는 복지사업과 연계를 지원할 예정”이라고 말했다.
