[김현우 기자 = 동두천] 동두천시는 지난 3일 시청 대회의실에서 2023년 동계 대학생 행정인턴 오리엔테이션을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

대학생 행정인턴은 지역 대학생에게 행정 체험 경험의 기회를 제공하고 학비 마련에 도움을 주고자 매년 2회씩 운영되고 있는 프로그램이다. 

기존에는 ‘부업대학생’이라는 명칭으로 운영됐으나, 2023년부터 관내 대학생들에게 행정 경험의 기회를 부여한다는 의미를 살려 ‘대학생 행정인턴’으로 변경됐다.

이번 오리엔테이션은 시정홍보 동영상 시청, 근무 시 주의사항 등 기본교육과 박형덕 동두천시장의 격려 말씀 순으로 진행됐다.

박형덕 동두천시장은 “학창 시절의 다양한 경험은 앞으로 여러분이 인생을 살아가는 데 있어 가장 소중한 자산”이라며, “앞으로 4주간 근무하면서 각자의 경쟁력을 높이고 젊은 날의 큰 꿈을 그려보길 바란다”라고 말했다.

동두천시는 지난달 7일 공개전산추첨을 통해 부업대학생 지원자 173명 중 50명을 선발했으며, 선발된 부업대학생들은 3일부터 오는 31일까지 20일간 시청과 동 행정복지센터 등 19개 부서에서 행정사무보조 업무를 수행한다.
