[김준호 기자 = 강원남부] 강원랜드(대표 이삼걸)가 도박 과몰입 및 중독피해 장기체류자, 단도박자 28명을 대상으로 진행한 2022년 ‘생명사랑 녹색치유농장’ 프로그램이 순조롭게 진행되고 있다고 지난 21일 밝혔다.

2017년부터 시행된 생명사랑 녹색치유농장 프로그램은 참여자들에게 농사와 나눔 활동을 통한 도박중독 치유 및 재활의 기회를 제공하고 있다.

참여자들은 올 4월부터 주 1회 4시간 정선군 남면 엔젤농장에서 옥수수, 배추, 토마토 등 농산물을 재배해 가족·지인 및 정선군 불우 이웃에게 기부했으며, 이를 통해 자연스럽게 사회적 단절을 해소하고 유대 관계를 형성해왔다.

이와 함께 참여자들은 정선보건소 협조를 받아 자살예방교육 건강 검진을 받았으며, 지도 강사 및 강원랜드중독관리센터 전문가들의 도움 아래 심리 상담, 음악 치유 등의 정서 안정 활동도 함께 진행했다.

한편 참여자들은 지난여름 수확한 농산물을 사북 읍사무소에 전달해 미담이 됐으며, 올 11월 직접 기른 배추·무 등으로 김치를 담가 지인 및 정선군 불우이웃에게 기증하면서 프로그램을 마무리할 예정이다.
