[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동두천시가 오는 17일 보산역 관광특구 내 전철 교각 하부에서 ‘제5회 캠프보산 플리마켓 행사’를 개최한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 행사는 동두천시가 주최하고 ‘무농도예’ 등 13개 공방이 함께 참여하여 진행되며, 캠프보산 플리마켓은 디자인 아트빌리지 공방제품 판매, 길거리 버스킹 공연, 월드푸드 스트리트 등 방문객에게 다양한 볼거리와 먹거리를 제공한다.

또한 유·무료 공예체험 및 캠프보산의 다양한 행사 이벤트도 함께 진행할 예정이며, 캠프보산 플리마켓은 4월부터 개최를 시작하여 오는 10월까지 매월 셋째 주 토요일 동일한 장소에서 운영된다.

박형덕 동두천시장은 “이번 행사가 디자인 아트빌리지 공방과 보산동 관광특구 활성화에 기여할 것”이라며 “오랫동안 코로나19로 지친 시민들의 일상에도 활기를 불어넣을 것으로 기대한다”라고 말했다.
