[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동두천시는 지난 29일 농업기술정보센터 1층 세미나실에서 제1회 동두천시 농지위원회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

농지위원회는 농지투기 행위 근절과 헌법상의 경자유전의 원칙을 목적으로 동두천시 외 거주자의 관내 농지 취득과 1필지의 농지를 3인 이상 공유로 취득하려는 경우 및 농업법인의 농지 취득 등을 심사한다.

지역 농업인과 농업관련 기관·단체 추천 등으로 구성된 위원들은 이날 회의에서 위원장을 호선하고 심의 안건으로 접수된 관외 거주자 농지 취득발급 등을 심의 의결했다.

회의 전에 진행된 위촉장 수여식에서 박형덕 동두천시장은 개정된 농지법에 따라 운영되는 농지위원회의 기능을 설명하며 경험이 풍부하고 자질이 뛰어난 위원들이 투명한 농지거래를 위해 최선의 역할을 다해줄 것을 당부했다.
