[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동두천시는 지난 8월 26일 시청 상황실에서 아동의 보호조치에 관한 상황을 심의하는 2022년 제5회 동두천시 사례결정위원회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

아동복지심의위원회 산하 사례결정위원회는 동두천시 아동복지심의위원회 위원 중 의사와 변호사, 학대예방 경찰관, 교육지원청 장학사, 아동보호전문기관 종사자 등 7명으로 구성, 아동보호와 관련한 사항을 전문적이며 적시성 있게 심의하는 것을 목표로 한다.

이날 회의에서는 일시 보호 중인 아동의 장기 보호조치, 원가정으로의 복귀, 가정위탁 보호기간 연장조치 등을 사전 심의했으며, 해당 보호조치는 아동의 의사를 존중하고 아동에게 최상의 이익이 되는 방향으로 심의 의결했다. 

동두천시는 앞으로도 아동보호 체계의 공공화가 확립됨에 따라 피해아동 및 보호대상 아동 등에 대한 사전심의를 위해 사례결정위원회를 수시로 진행할 예정이다.
