[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 을지대학교가 의료 인공지능 융합 인재 양성에 나선다고 밝혔다.

을지대학교 의과대학이 을지대 바이오융합대학과 대전을지대학교병원, 한국전자통신연구원과 함께 보건복지부와 한국보건산업진흥원이 실시하는 ‘의료 인공지능 융합 인재 양성 사업단’ 모집에 참여한다고 전했다.

을지대 의과대학 등 사업단에 참여하는 4개 기관은 지난 26일 오후 5시 30분, 대전을지대병원 회의실에서 유승민 학장, 정동근 학장, 김하용 원장, ETRI 박종현 부원장 등 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 사업 참여 의향서 체결식을 가졌다고 했다.

을지대 의과대학 유승민 학장은 “대학과 병원, 산업체의 원활한 협력을 기반으로 지역 헬스케어 산업분야를 선도하는 인공지능 융합 인재 양성을 위해 노력해 나갈 것”이라고 말했다.
