[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부을지대학교병원이 식약처가 공인하는 임상시험검체분석기관에 지정됐다고 밝혔다.

의정부을지대병원은 임상시험 중 수집된 혈액, 뇨 등 검체분석을 수행할 자격을 갖추게 됐다고 전했다.

김병식 병원장은 “이번 임상시험검체분석기관 지정을 통해 임상시험 분야에서 한층 강화된 경쟁력을 갖추게 됐다”며, “앞으로 객관적이고 신뢰도 높은 검체분석이 이뤄질 수 있도록 임상시험 분야의 핵심 역량을 지속 강화해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 의정부을지대병원은 지난해 '의약품 임상시험 실시기관', '의료기기 임상시험 실시기관', '진단검사의학 수탁기관 및 우수검사실 신임인증'을 연이어 획득하며 지역사회에서 ‘연구 중심 의료기관’으로 자리매김하고 있다고 했다.
