[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 17일, 동두천시 보산동 지역사회보장협의체는 생활이 어려운 다문화가정 5가구를 방문해 안부를 확인하고 식품 박스에 냉동피자, 누룽지삼계탕을 담아 전달했다고 밝혔다.

‘다문화가정 동행’ 특화사업은 다문화 가정이 많은 보산동 특성을 살려 올해 처음 추진하는 사업이며, 이 사업은 관내 저소득 다문화 가정을 발굴하여 생필품 전달과 아동 양육환경을 확인하고 상담을 통해 맞춤형 복지서비스를 연계하는 특화사업이라고 전했다.

박미애 위원장은 “고향을 떠나 생활하는 와중에 어려움이 있는 이웃을 보면 안타까운 마음이었지만 조금이나마 도움이 되었으면 하는 마음에서 사업을 추진하게 됐다”고 전했다.  

여운성 보산동장은 “다문화 가정이 한국생활에 잘 적응해 행복한 삶을 영위할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
