조순광 체육회장은“지속되고 있는 코로나19 상황으로 인해 각종 체육행사를 치르는데 많은 어려움이 있어 안타깝게 생각한다”며“올해는 양주시 체육의 발전을 위하여 화합할 수 있는 기회를 만들어 전진할 것”이라고 말했다.

이정주 복지문화국장은“올해 옥정체육공원 실내체육관 건립과 국민체육센터 주차장 조성, 노후 공공 체육시설 보수를 통해 체육기반시설 확대에 기여하겠다”며“앞으로도 생활체육과 엘리트 체육발전을 위하여 물심양면으로 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
