[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 14일 동해시의회는 의회 소회의실에서 윤리심사자문위원회 자문위원 위촉식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

동해시의회는 학계와 법조계, 언론계 등 관련 분야에서 윤리분야의 전문지식과 경험이 풍부한 사람을 2년 임기로 5명을 위촉했다고 전했다.

윤리심사자문위원회는 지방의회 의원의 겸직 및 영리행위, 윤리강령 및 윤리실천 규범 준수 여부와 지방의회 의원의 징계에 관한 사항에 대한 윤리특별위원회의 심사 전 자문의 역할을 맡는다고 했다.

김기하 의장은 “윤리심사자문위원회를 통한 책임성 있고 투명한 의정활동으로 시민에게 신뢰받는 공직윤리를 정립해나가도록 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
