[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 4일 동해시의회는 『동해시의회 의원연구단체 심사위원회』를 개최하여 2021년도 의원연구단체 연구활동 결과 보고 및 2022년도 의원연구단체 등록에 따른 활동 계획에 관한 사항을 심의했다고 밝혔다.

이날 심사위원회는 2021년 의원연구단체인 「전통시장 연구회」등 2개 단체의 연구활동 결과 보고사항과 2022년도 의원연구단체로　등록 신청된 「동해항 항만지역 등 대기질 개선 연구회」의 활동계획 건을 심사하여 원안 가결했다고 했다. 

「동해항 항만지역 등 대기질 개선 연구회」는 항만배후지역 주민의 삶의 질 개선을 위해 미세먼지 측정 데이터를 수집하고, 관계 전문가와 대응전략을 모색해 나가게 된다고 했다.

참고로 지난해에는 2개 의원연구단체를 구성하여 전통시장의 현안사항을 살펴 상인들의 어려움 해소에 앞장섰고, 망상에 이어 전천과 가원습지 생태복원을 위한 다양한 제안사항을 도출했다고 했다.  

박남순 심사위원장은 “시민의 삶의 질 향상과 안전한 일상의 회복을 위해 의미있는 연구결과를 남길 수 있기를 기대한다.”고 말했다.
