[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시 농업기술센터는 다음달 1일부터 내년도 4월 30일까지 산불조심기간 동안 농업기계 임대사업소에서 잔가지파쇄기를 무상 임대한다고 밝혔다.

잔가지파쇄기 무상임대는 폐기물 관리법을 준수하며 정부 미세먼지 저감 및 관내 산불예방을 위해 고춧대, 과수잔가지, 깨 작목 등의 잔가지를 파쇄하기 위해서라고 전했다.

농업기계 임대사업소에서 보유하고 있는 잔가지파쇄기는 5종 11대이며, 이용대상자는 동해시민, 동해에 토지를 소유한 자 등으로 무상임대를 원하는 사람은 임대사업소로 문의 후 사용할 수 있다고 했다.

임대사업소에서는 잔가지파쇄기 임대 시 작업 전 조작요령을 숙지하고 안전장비를 착용 후 사용하는 등 농업기계 안전사고를 사전 예방할 수 있도록 사전 지도를 강화할 계획이라고 했다.

동해시 관계자는 “잔가지 파쇄기 무상 임대 등으로 농촌분야에서 발생되는 미세먼지를 최소화하고, 더불어 산불 방지에도 힘쓰도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
