[김택곤 기자=정선군] 정선군은 폐광지역의 자원과 유휴공간을 활용하여 지역특색에 맞는 창업기업을 발굴 및 육성하기 위한 폐광지역 창업활성화 지원사업 참여기업을 오는 1. 26.(목)까지 모집한다. 

폐광지역 창업활성화 지원사업은 폐광지역 진흥지구 내 20년 이상 된 노후 유휴 공간을 활용하는 개인 또는 법인에게 최대 1억원을 지원하는 지역재생창업 기업 지원사업과 진흥지구 내 또는 농공단지에 위치한 법인에 5,000만원을 지원하는 주민창업기업 지원사업으로 나뉘어 지며, 선정위원회의 심사를 통해 최대 3년까지 각각 지원한다.

창업 사업자금 지원뿐만 아니라 폐광지역의 특색있고 차별화된 창업 아이템을 발굴 및 지원하기 위해 창업기업 밀착형 컨설팅을 지원하고 자생력 강화를 위한 교육도 지원한다.

올해 강원도 및 강원도 경제진흥원에서는 폐광지역 4개 시·군에 지역재생창업 기업 지원사업 12개소, 주민창업기업 지원사업 24개소를 선정하여 추진할 예정이다.

폐광지역 창업활성화 지원사업은 오늘 1. 26.(목)까지 신청 및 접수하여, 2 ~ 3월 중 적격검토, 현지실사 및 서면심사, 대면평가를 통해 최종 3월 중 선정하여 4월부터 본격 추진 및 지원한다.

지근배 전략산업과장은“마을호텔18번가, 나전역 카페 등 우수한 폐광지역 창업사례들이 2023년에도 지속 발굴되어 지역의 명소화 및 지역활력 견인에 도움이 될 수 있도록 적극 지원할 계획이다“라고 밝혔다.
