[김택곤 기자=정선군] 육군 제36보병사단 8087부대 주관으로 10일 정선군청 대회의실에서 정선군 예비군지역대 창설식을 거행했다.

창설식에는 최승준 정선군수를 비롯한 전영기 정선군의회 의장, 박재삼 정선경찰서장, 최영수 정선소방서장, 김찬희 정선군 재향군인회장, 김수철 6·25참전유공자회 정선군지회장, 탁희철 8087부대, 윤영남 8087부대 2대대장, 민·관·군·경·소방 관계자 등이 참석했다.

정선군 예비군지역대는 국방혁신 4.0 일환으로 변화된 국내·외 안보상황 및 작전환경에 대응하고 효과적인 예비전력의 관리와 부대편성으로 지역방위태세를 강화하고자 창설되었으며, 태백·정선대대와 정선군 예비군 읍·면대의 중간지휘 제대로서, 1,000여 명의 예비전력에 대한 예비군 읍·면대 지휘통제, 교육훈련과 지역방위작전을 수행한다.
