[김준호 기자 = 삼척시] 제30회 강원도민생활체육대회가 오는 9월 23일부터 9월 25일까지 3일간 삼척종합운동장과 복합체육공원 등에서  34개 종목별 경기장에서 개최된다.

이번 대회는 도내 18개 시·군 선수와 임원 8,000여 명이 육상, 수영, 축구 등 정식종목 22개, 태권도, 그라운드골프, 파크골프 등 시범종목 3개, 전시종목(드론) 1개 등 총 26개 종목에 참가하여 열띤 경쟁을 펼칠 예정이다.

개회식 행사는 오는 9월 23일 오후 4시 30분부터 삼척종합운동장에서 식전․공식․식후행사로 열리며, 인기가수 축하공연과 불꽃놀이 등 다양한 볼거리로 꾸며진다. 

삼척시는 이번 대회에 육상을 비롯해 수영, 축구, 배구 등 24개 종목에 437명(선수 380명, 임원 57명)으로 선수단을 구성하여 지역의 명예를 걸고 대회 참가 전 필승 결의를 다지기 위해 9월 22일 오전 11시 삼척시민복합체육공원 축구장에서 ‘제30회 강원도민생활체육대회 출전 선수단 결단식’을 진행하였다.

강원도민생활체육대회 성공적인 행사 진행을 위하여 자원봉사자 100여 명, 응급의료 인력 20여 명, 응급의료 차량 50대, 종목별 보조 인력 200여 명, 종목별 경기장 공무원 직원 100여 명 등을 배치하여 선수들이 최상의 기량을 발휘할 수 있도록 할 계획이다.
