[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동두천시는 지난 21일 2022년 하계부업대학생 50명을 대상으로 현장견학을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 부업대학생들은 청소년수련관에서 청년정책 교육을 시작으로 관내 주요 관광시설인 자연휴양림, 소요 별&숲 테마파크를 견학한 뒤 환경사업소에서 정화시설을 둘러보는 것으로 일정을 마무리하며 시에 대한 애향심과 자긍심을 키울 수 있는 소중한 시간을 가졌다.

동두천시 관계자는 “앞으로도 청년들에게 지역을 바로 알고 사회생활 경험을 쌓을 수 있는 기회를 제공하기 위해 다양한 프로그램 개발에 적극적으로 나설 예정”이라고 밝혔다.

동두천시 부업대학생 사업은 지역 대학생에게 행정 체험의 기회를 제공하고 학비 마련에 도움을 주고자 매년 2회씩 운영되고 있는 프로그램이다. 

2022년 하계부업대학생들은 지난 7월 4일부터 시청 내 각 부서와 보건소·사업소·박물관 등에 배치되어 행정보조 업무를 수행하고 있다.
