[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양주시가 전국 최초로 코로나19 격리통지서 일괄 발급해 간편 통보하는 시스템을 자체 구축하여 행정안전부 우수사례로 선정돼 이목을 끌고 있다고 전했다.

지난 16일 양주시는 시스템을 도입해 운영 중이며 현재까지 4,000명의 재택치료자에게 격리통지서를 일괄 발송했다고 밝혔다.

격리통지서는 확진자의 생활지원비나 생필품 지급, 직장·학교 복귀 등에 필요한 증명서로 기존 코로나19 확진자 대상자의 자택으로 개별 우편 발송됐다고 했다.

코로나19 오미크론 변이로 일일 신규 확진자가 폭증하며 격리통지서의 통지 지연, 재택치료 관리인력 부족, 높은 피로도 등 어려움이 지속적으로 이어졌다고 했다.

이에 양주시는 PC 소프트웨어를 활용한 이미지 일괄 변환과 민간 메시지 서비스를 활용해 새올시스템 내 격리통지서를 일괄 발급할 수 있는 기능을 구현해 업무 효율을 대폭 향상시켰다고 전했다.

이로써 기존 2명의 전담 직원이 하루 종일 걸리던 격리통지서 발급·통보 업무가  전담 직원 1명이 2~3시간 내 완료할 수 있도록 단축돼 체계적인 확진자 관리가 가능해질 것으로 내다보고 있다고 했다.

앞서 양주시는 지난 18일 격리통지서 일괄발급 간편통보 시스템 매뉴얼을 전국 지자체에 발송하며 확진자 급증에 신속 대응할 수 있도록 시스템 활용을 적극 독려했다고 전했다.

양주시 관계자는 “코로나19 감염확산 방지에 전국 지자체가 함께 협력 대응할 수 있도록 매뉴얼을 공유하고 적극행정의 모범사례가 되길 바란다”며 “우리시의 우수사례가 전국에 소개되면 많은 문의가 이뤄지는 상황으로 지역별 여건에 맞게 격리통지 업무 경감방안을 신속히 적용, 활용하길 기대한다”고 말했다.
