[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 내년 1월 21일까지 포천시는 관내 수도작농가를 위한 벼 병해충 방제 약제를 신청 받는다고 밝혔다.

지원대상은 포천시민 중 농업인 자격이 있고 벼농사를 짓는 농업인으로, 신청은 해당 읍면동 행정복지센터 산업팀에서 하면 되고, 지원되는 벼병해충 방제농약은 벼물바구미 방제를 위한 못자리 상자 처리제, 도열병, 혹명나방 방제약제 등이며, 코로나19로 인한 농가경영상태 악화 등 농가의 어려움을 함께 극복하기 위해 모든 비용을 무상으로 지원한다고 했다. 

포천시 관계자는 “영농철이 시작되기 전 농업인의 무거운 마음을 위로하기 위해 포천시가 함께하겠다.”라며 “2022년 적기 방제를 통해 농가 피해가 최소화되도록 농가에서도 협조 부탁드린다.”라고 밝혔다.
