[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 12월 8일 제27회 경기국악제 축하공연이 오후 5시 포천반월아트홀 대극장에서 열린다고 밝혔다.

경기국악제는 지난 1994년 ‘국악의 해’를 맞아 국악의 계승발전과 저변확대를 목적으로 시작됐으며, 국악 인재 발굴 및 신예 국악인의 등용문으로서 자리 잡았다고 했다.

12월 7일과 오는 8일 포천반월아트홀에서 치러지는 경기국악제는 7일 민요, 전통무용, 기악 등 3개 부문에 대한 명인부 예선을 시작으로 일반부와 학생부 영상심사를 거쳐 8일 명인부 본선과 결선 대면심사 후 오후 5시부터 축하공연이 펼쳐진다고 전했다.

경기도와 (사)한국국악협회 경기도지회에서 주최한 이번 공연은 방송인 조영구 씨가 진행을 맡았으며, 경기명창 김영임 국악인, 경기도 무형문화재 제35호 포천 메나리 보유자 김영오 소리꾼, 트롯자매 이송연, 이지원 자매, 이미희 무용단, 국악실내악단 비상 등이 출연해 아름다운 국악 무대를 꾸밀 예정이고, 공연은 누구나 관람할 수 있으며, 선착순 500명 입장이 가능하고, 기타 문의는 (사)한국국악협회 경기도지회로 하면 된다고 했다.
