[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시 가재울도서관은 이야기길 두 번째 이야기로 가을에 맞는 그림책을 추천했다고 전했다.

「작지만 가치있는 지역공동체 문화공간」인 가재울도서관은 지난 봄, 첫 번째 이야기길의 그림책인 구지현 작가의“너를 알아볼 수 있을까”로 봄에 맞는 그림책을 추천해 큰 호응을 받은 바 있는 가재울도서관 이야기길이 최근 두 번째 이야기길로 새롭게 단장했다고 했다. 

두 번째 이야기길의 추천 그림책은 싱어송라이터 선우정아의 노랫말과 볼로냐아동국제도서전 대상 수상작가 곽수진의 그림으로 구성된 「도망가자(Run with me)」로 선정했다고 했다.

이 책은 누군가에게 손 내밀고 누군가의 손을 잡으며 서로에게 따뜻한 위로의 메시지를 담은 그림책으로 가능역을 이용하는 시민들에게 가을의 정취와 위로를 전해주고, 노랫말을 기본으로 제작된 그림책의 취지를 살리기 위해 음악을 들으면서 그림책을 감상할 수 있도록 했으며, 어두운 교각에 삽화를 활용한 디자인라이팅으로 가능역의 분위기를 한층 더 밝게 연출하여 취약한 공간을 개선했다고 했다. 

이정석 도서관정책과장은 “앞으로도 가재울도서관을 통해 낙후된 가능역 주변의 환경을 개선하기 위해 지속적인 노력을 기울이겠다”고 밝혔다. 

가재울도서관 이야기길은 가능역 3번출구와 가재울도서관 사잇길에 있으며 도서관 운영시간 중 언제든 방문하여 볼 수 있고, 자세한 내용은 도서관홈페이지와 인스타그램에서 확인할 수 있다고 전했다.
