[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 대한민국예술축전에서 경기도 대표로 참가한 의정부예총 김광수 사진작가가 전체 대상을 차지하는 영예를 안았다고 밝혔다.

이 행사는 지난 10월 14일부터 15일까지 문화체육관광부가 주최하고 한국예총이 주관하였으며 경상북도 구미시에서 개최되었다고 했다.

전국 시도연합회에서 예선을 거쳐서 출전한 국악, 사진, 영화 등 3개 부문의 40팀이 치열한 경쟁 끝에 수상자가 선정되었고, 3개 부문 중 2개의 부문을 경기도 대표팀이 석권하였으며, 그 3개 부문 중 최종 대상 수상을 의정부예총 김광수 사진작가가 차지하여 그야말로 경기도가 압도적인 결과를 거머쥐게 된 것이라고 전했다.

대상을 수상한 의정부예총 김광수 사진작가는 “30여 년의 작품 활동에서 최고의 영예를 얻게 되어 영광이고 감사하다” 면서 “의정부 예술인의 한사람으로서 긍지와 자부심을 품게 되었고 이 영광을 의정부예총 예술인들에게 드린다”고 말했고, 이어 “의정부예총 김원기 회장은 의정부 문화예술 발전을 위해 부단히 노력하는 문화예술 단체로 거듭나기를 최선을 다할 것이며, 함께 활동하는 의정부 예술인들에게도 감사드린다”고 전했다.

한편 한국예술문화단체총연합회가 주관하는 ‘대한민국 예술축전’은 2018년부터 예술인들의 신규일자리를 창출하고 청년·신인예술가를 발굴·육성하고자 매년 전국체육대회 개최지에서 진행되고 있다고 밝혔다.
