[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 10월 5일, 7일, 8일 3일간 의정부시는 2022년도 주요업무계획 보고회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 보고회는 각 부서별 공약사업, 주요사업 등 의정부시 역점사업이 성공적으로 마무리될 수 있도록 민선 7기 주요성과와 부진사업 등을 점검하고, 내년도 업무추진 방향과 주요사업의 반영예산 및 효율적 집행을 점검하며, 오는 2022년도 시정운영 방향 및 전략을 수립했다고 전했다. 

코로나19 상황으로 국·단·소장 및 부서장만 소규모 참석으로 진행됐고, 주민체감도가 높은 생활밀착형 사업과 포스트코로나 시대를 대비한 미래지향적 사업계획을 발굴하였으며, 심도 있는 토의와 질의응답, 시장·부시장 지시사항 및 당부사항 전달 순으로 진행됐다고 했다. 

오는 2022년은 민선 7기 역점사업의 마무리를 위한 중요한 시기임에 따라 부진사업이 기간 내 완료될 수 있도록 예상되는 문제점 극복을 위한 구체적 실행계획을 수립하는 데 가장 중점을 두었다고 밝혔다. 

안병용 의정부시장은 “2022년에도 의정부시 100년 먹거리 창출을 위한 시의 역점사업들이 원활히 추진될 수 있도록 국장님들을 필두로 모든 직원들이 합심하여 최선을 다해달라”고 당부했다.

의정부시는 이번 보고회를 통해 제시된 사항에 대한 보완을 거쳐 오는 2022년 주요업무 계획을 확정하고, 이에 따른 예산을 편성할 계획으로, 다가오는 2022년도 의정부시 비전실현을 위한 준비에 만전을 기하고 있다고 밝혔다.
