[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 오는 26일 저녁 8시 30분부터 포천시와 경기문화재단은 화적연 야외무대에서 창작 실경공연 「화적연: 비를 기다리는 마을」을 개최한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 공연은 한탄강 권역의 대표 자연 경관지인 화적연을 배경으로 용이 출몰했던 화적연에 얽힌 전설과 포천 지방의 ‘용 아이’ 설화, 그리고 조선왕조실록의 숙종 때 기우제 기록을 모티브로 한 독창적인 이야기로 구성되었다고 했다.

임호, 정유희, 이상화 등 정상급 주연배우와 공연제작소 쿰 소속의 전문배우들이 출연하며, 총감독에는 경복대학교 유원용 교수와 전문창작진이 참여해 극의 몰입도를 높이고, 특히, 일반 공연과는 달리 포천시 영북면, 관인면 지역주민 20여 명이 시민배우로 함께 참여해 지역 특색을 살린 새로운 공연을 선보일 예정이라고 했다.
