‘강원형 뉴딜 특화분야 창업지원사업’은 강원권 특화산업인 ‘디지털 헬스케어’와 ‘스마트 관광’ 분야의 성장성 높고 기술경쟁력과 사업성을 갖춘 극 초기 단계(창업 3년 미만) 창업기업을 선정하여 집중적으로 육성하는 사업이라고 했다.

이번에 선정된 디지털 헬스케어 분야 창업기업은 마인드허브(뇌질환 환자 특화 인지 및 언어 재활 서비스), 실비아헬스(고령자 비대면 인지 건강 관리서비스), 은혜숲(데일리 멘탈 케어 솔루션), 메디버튼(환자용 의무기록 관리 플랫폼), 클릭사운드(턱 관절 질환 App 연동형 스마트 스플린트), 헤세드릿지(사내복지 건강관리 서비스) 등 6개 기업이며, 스마트 관광 분야는 개고생(실시간 위치추적 반려동물 국가등록칩), 마이컬처(강원도 농식품을 이용한 K-food 쿠킹 클래스), 페텔(반려동물 동반 숙박 예약 서비스), 프랜딧(맛집 정보 공유를 기반으로 한 지역관광 중심의 여행서비스), 메이킹래빗(외국인 관광객 부가세 즉시 환급 플랫폼), FAMO(우리 가족 액티비티 커뮤니티 플랫폼) 등 6개 기업이라고 했다.

강원혁신센터는 지난 5년간 강원형 뉴딜 특화산업인 디지털 헬스케어 분야 81개 팀을 발굴해 지원해왔으며, 2021년에는 스마트 관광, 이모빌리티까지 분야를 확대해 총 27팀을 보육해 매출 52억, 신규고용 99명, 투자유치 16건/25억 등 괄목할만한 성과를 거뒀다고 전했다.

한홍열 센터장 직무대행은 “이번 사업으로 지역 특화산업 가치의 재발견과 성장을 위한 혁신적인 사업모델을 갖춘 창업기업들을 집중 육성하여 데스밸리를 극복하고, 성공적인 창업 역량을 갖출 수 있을 것으로 기대된다”라고 밝혔다.
