[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강원창조경제혁신센터(이하 ‘강원혁신센터’)가 ㈜에그코퍼레이션, ㈜라이튼테크놀로지 등 도내 디지털헬스케어 분야 기업 2개 사에 투자를 완료했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 투자는 강원혁신센터와 ㈜소풍벤처스가 공동으로 운용하는 ‘강원 피크닉 투자조합’과 ‘강원 청년 창업펀드 1호’를 통해 진행됐다고 전했다. 

강원 피크닉 투자조합은 강원도 규제자유특구로 지정된 디지털헬스케어, 액화수소 기업에 집중적으로 투자해 지역 대표 기업을 육성하고자 조성되어 운영 중이라고 했다.

강원 청년 창업펀드 1호는 도내 다양한 분야의 초기 및 성장기 벤처기업을 대상으로 시드에서 프리A 단계까지 투자하고 있다고 전했다.

강원 피크닉 투자조합에서 투자한 ㈜에그코퍼레이션은 디지털 헬스케어기기 브랜드를 인큐베이팅하는 전문 기업으로, 바른자세 교정 전문 브랜드 ‘퓨어플랜’을 통해 다양한 의료기기 및 건강 보조기기 제품을 선보이고 있다고 했다.

에그코퍼레이션은 현대인의 고질병인 거북목을 교정하고 바른 자세를 유지하도록 돕고자 퓨어플랜에서 출시한 ‘밀당넥’으로 ‘2021 디자인 혁신 유망기업’으로 선정되었으며, D2C* 전문 제조·유통 기업으로 고객의 빅데이터를 수집하고 이를 바탕으로 전략적인 마케팅을 추진하며 빠르게 성장하고 있다고 했다.

스마트병원 솔루션은 의료서비스의 질적, 양적 수요증가에 따라 환자의 안전을 관리하고 의료인의 업무 효율 향상 등을 위해 다양한 의료데이터를 수집하고 분석해 활용하는 서비스를 말하고, 라이튼테크놀로지는 환자의 수액투여 상태를 실시간으로 확인하는 수액 모니터링 시스템 ‘파인 드롭’(FineDrop)으로 빠르게 병원시장에 진입하고 있으며, 데이터 연동 협력 프로젝트를 진행하는 등 의료데이터 통합 솔루션에 대한 잠재력을 높이 평가받고 있다고 했다.

한종호 센터장은 “센터가 운용 중인 투자조합을 통해 도내 기업들이 한 단계 도약할 수 있도록 적극적으로 투자하겠다”라고 말했다.
