[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 25일 강원창조경제혁신센터(이하 ‘강원혁신센터’)는 강원권역에서 유일하게 ‘재도전성공패키지’ 주관기관으로 선정됐다고 밝혔다. 

중소벤처기업부가 추진하는 ‘재도전성공패키지’는 실패 경험이 있지만 창업에 재도전하는 예비 재창업자 및 7년 미만 재창업기업을 지원해 성공적으로 재기할 수 있도록 돕는 사업으로 시행 8년 차를 맞았다고 했다. 

올해 주관기관으로 선정된 전국 총 6개의 기관 중 강원권역에서는 강원혁신센터가 유일하며, 이번 선정을 통해 예비-초기-도약 단계 창업가뿐만 아니라 혁신적인 비즈니스 아이디어로 창업에 다시 도전하는 재창업자까지 지원할 수 있는 체계를 구축했다고 했다. 

‘재도전성공패키지에’에 참여를 희망하는 (예비)재창업자는 오는 3월 4일부터 17일까지 K-스타트업 홈페이지를 통해 신청할 수 있다고 했다. 

올해 선발 총규모는 지난해보다 확대된 267명(일반형 207, 지식재산 30, 팁스알 30)이며, 강원혁신센터는 일반형 30여 개 기업을 전담하게 될 예정이라고 했다. 

공모를 통해 선발된 기업에는 최대 6천만 원의 사업화 자금을 지원하고 투자유치, 판로지원 프로그램 등 기업별 특성에 맞춘 특화 프로그램을 제공하는 것은 물론 사후에도 강원혁신센터에서 운영하는 다양한 사업 연계를 통해 기업의 생존율을 높이고 안정적으로 성장할 수 있도록 지원할 계획이라고 했다. 

한종호 센터장은 “실패를 밑거름으로 확고한 재기 의지와 역량을 가진 창업가를 발굴하고 창업 초기부터 성장단계까지 밀도 있게 지원하겠다”라고 말했다.
